Most people in Hawaii don't own dryers. While I do, I have come accustomed to air drying my clothing. Yes, it takes longer and is some what a pain but it leaves my clothes smelling like fresh ocean air and flowers. It was an adjustment at first but I have really come to love the simplicity of it. Maybe it's just the joy of being old fashioned. But hey, it is the north shore where people are years behind in the times so I guess it works :)
