Double Take.

Don’t judge but….I SAW THE VOW AGAIN!

We had a work meeting tonight so before, Shelby, Danielle, and I went to go see the movie since Danielle hadn’t seen it yet. (and Shelby and I didn’t complain about seeing it twice!) And I loved it just as much the second time!!!

Whaaaaaaaat?!

Somehow I found a few extra spare minutes in my wonderfully busy schedule to create something really wonderful and inspirational and artistic and inspiring:

It was a three day weekend and I don’t work on Mondays SO it was a play day! Dylan, Brianne, Erin, Ben, Pono and I did a tour of Kualoa Ranch and got to see where they filmed shows like Lost, Pirates of the Caribbean, 50 First Dates, Jurassic Park, Snakes on a Plane (obviously off the plane) etc…. It was so beautiful and the scenery was amazing!! There was even a little petting zoo area at the end so we got to feed some animals!

After our tour at Kualoa, we decided it would be a good day to swim out to Chinaman’s hat and hike to the top. It was amazing!!! The view was incredible, the colors of the water from over there were awesome and just seeing the mountain from that view was so beautiful! I loved it!!! I got some bumps and bruises due to the hike and being thrown around on the reef but it was totally worth it. It is now going to be a definite tourist stop when friends come and visit from here on out!!!

Unicorns and Rainbows.

I mean, I knew Hawaii was magical and all but I didn’t know so magical that Unicorns live here!! And better yet, they shop at Pupukea and drink Starbucks!!

Lover's Day!

Although this day is still one of the most over exaggerated holidays of the year, I will say it was a nice little one and I felt the love! My mom sent me a wonderful Valentines package! Lots of treats and love and Oregon goodies!!

And THEN my lovely Sydney delivered me the tastiest little V-day treats ever! She was by far the cutest Cupid I ever did see!!!

And then at work I was reminded why I am happy to be single: (Ha!!!)

All in all it was a really wonderful Valentines day.

The Vow.

Finally. My lover Channing Tatum and I have been reunited. And while I realize it is beyond cliché to go see a Nicholas Sparks-esk movie the week of Valentines but when it comings to Channing…I just can’t say no! I had heard both good and bad reviews from the movie so I was a little skeptical going into it but…as my dear friend Emily said after seeing the movie…. “I Vow to own that movie some day!!” I LOVED IT! I loved it so much. I am not a good movie critiquez but I am a sucker for love stories and this was no exception. I laughed, I cried (like a boob), and I drooled like a school girl.

Did I mention you see Channing’s bare butt?! HA!

(I secretly can’t wait to see it again!)

Luscious locks.

I got my harrrrr did! I have been missing the red so I brought it back! It wasn’t exactly what I thought I had bought but I absolutely love it!!!

Thank you Mr. Brown.

SO there is an old man who lives up Pupukea. His name is Mr. Brown. 2 months ago, Mr. Brown was parked in the front row of the store in a handicap spot and rather than hitting the gas to reverse, he hit to gas to go forward and ran into the building. His drivers license was promptly taken away WHICH one would think would solve the problem. However, no one thought to take away his keys. SO Mr. Brown continued to drive and this afternoon, he ran straight into the converter box for the store, causing us to have no power which also cause our drains to flood. Due to the health violation of this incident alone, we were forced to close the store. I can't say I am MAD at the situation because it was a nice short shift for me but it did make a lot of customers mad and because Mr. Brown wasn't around to explain what happened, most people take their coffee withdrawal anger out on us little ol' innocent baristas!

The best part about it all is that I got out of work just in time to see the sunset which is by far my favorite part of living here in Hawaii...

Weather makes me HAPPY!

There are many things and people and places that I miss in the varying places I call "home" but weather is NOT one of those things...I don't think I could really every peaceably move back to a cold weather state! The sunshine and warmth is just too good!!!!

And this is even a "cold" winter week for Hawaii!!

I got a lovely package from my Vicky lady. She is the BEST package giver. I swear that box was like Mary Poppin's bag because I just kept pulling thing after thing after thing. I loved it!!!!
