Beach wedding.

When I moved here, I met Jeremy and Sarah. They had just moved here from Seattle and were, just like me, very new to the area. Sarah got a seasonal job at Macy's which is right next door to my Starbucks so we saw each other regularly and got to know one another quite well. Sarah is such a beautiful person and Jeremy is such a nice young man. They have known one another since they were 18 years old when they met their freshman year of college. They got married last night, Saturday Jan 29th on the beach and it was one of the most beautiful evenings on the water I have ever seen. There wasn't a cloud in the sky, absolutely no wind, and the colors were a warmish pink. It was so amazing and I am happy to have been a part of their lovely celebration. They had food and music and once the sun went down, had fire spinners! It was really a great celebration of two very beautiful people.

Last monday I received the best text message ever. It was a photo of one of the most adorable babies (see below) and the caption "Happy Monday!" It made my day, my week, MY MONTH! He is the cutest thing!! Those eyes, those cheeks! I love him! And I love his mother Cami :) Why must Arizona be so far away!?

How can you not have a good week when it starts with that face?!

My preggers dane.

WELL my best friend since 2ND GRADE, Erin (Cranford) Meilsoe is pregnant with baby numero 2. I can't accurately express my love for this girl in words. We have gone through a lot together in the last 17.5 years and I am beyond grateful for the blessing she has been in my life and for having moved right across the street from her so many years ago. We've pushed fire alarms at Shopko, put our thumb prints in fresh cement (which is still there in Billings on North 31st Street), dated boys together, been high school sports rivals together, gone to girls camps and EFY together, cried together and laughed our freaking faces off together. (I'm getting that lump in my throat!) We went to college together, slept in a twin bed together for almost 2 months, and I even found her current husband. WELL, maybe I didn't find him but I knew there was something amazing about him from the first time he came to our apartment (even when Erin thought HELL no...haha!) I was proud to be her maid of honor and cry my baby way through the wedding toast. We have been through A LOT together and she is now on her way to being another mommy to yet another adorable little girl. I just wish she didn't live half a world away in Denmark so I can squeeze this little ones cheeks! If Signe is anything like Anja, Erin and Kristian will have their hands full but I couldn't be more excited for them. Erin will probably kill me for posting this but I am just celebrating her up coming adventure :)

Good night Moon, Good morning SUN.

Last night the moon was very beautiful on the water. The night was clear and calm and the water was like glass. It was so beautiful and peaceful.

I figured it would bring an even more beautiful sight in the morning with the sunrise and to my luck...I had the day off!! And boy was I right...it was so nice the morning. Very calm and peaceful! And with little foot traffic on the beach...it made for a great morning.

You know you have a problem when....

Let me explain...we don't have the coldest water that is coming

from our tap SO I often bring home waters and cups of ice. Well one

evening I looked around our place and spotted SIX cups...five of them

here in this photo! Not ok....

The Pup.

My landlords got a.....PUPPY! It was like a dream come true! His name is Hershey and because they go to work during the day, when I get off from work I get to play all day with him! Which is also known as...being absolutely unproductive! But it's for a good cause...a good CUTE cause!

NEW (a few weeks old) HAIR!

OK this post is long over due BUT here it is...I whacked my hair off. NOT that it was super long to begin with but I just needed a good chop job. AND I got it!! She did a really great job and I love love love it. As nice (and lazy) as it is to just pull my hair back...it's fun to have a style again!!

Here's to 2011...at the beach.

THIS was the last scene I saw before the lights went out on

2010. Lanikai beach was very beautiful that evening! I felt very

at peace knowing that I was heading into a new year in Hawaii,

somewhere beautiful and peaceful and exciting. I am happy to say

goodbye to 2010 and very anxious to begin 2011 with renewed enthusiasm

and anticipation for what the year has in store!

As for my exciting NYE party plans...they didn't so much exist! I had to...

correction, I volunteered to work at 4am on New Years day, therefor

I opted to keep it on the down low and ring in what I hope to be

an amazing year on the beach! There were lots of fireworks on

the sand and over the water so it was low key but fun.

the glare off my forehead!!

^OK here is the proof. This was literally at the stroke

of midnight...toes in the sand!!

^Hello January 1, 2011 :) It was an amazing sunny day so

after I got of work, where else should I go but the beach!!
